Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is due to visit the Kingdom on March 3 to meet Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, including counterterrorism.
Addressing participants and scholars of the international counterterrorism conference that concluded in Makkah recently, King Salman called on Muslim Ummah to unify in rank and file, and to shun all forms of intolerance and extremism.
“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the Kingdom on ‘a special invitation’ of King Salman,” said Khayyam Akbar, deputy chief of mission.
According to him, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is also expected to accompany the delegation, and the two Pakistani leaders are expected to perform Umrah during their visit
